Music of Sean Sullivan

Since August of last year, I've been hard at work on an album release featuring a collection of songs spanning the last 12 years of my life.  My close friend Casey DeMott and I have been playing music together since '95 and in those 14 years, we have continually talked about releasing an album. Many musical ventures have been pursued in those years, playing in bands and pursuing smaller recording projects.

However, it has always been our goal and dream to record an album on our terms and release to those ready to listen. This dream will finally be realized as we will soon be releasing a full-length album featuring what we feel is a very representative collection of tunes we have written and played over the years. (This will actually be the first full-length album to my credit.)

The catalog of music I've written is vast, and Casey has been there alongside of me in writing much of the music to date. Narrowing down those tunes to a appropriate set for a single disc format was no small task. Ultimately, we ended up going with some earlier tunes, as well as some freshly written songs. Choosing music from a broad span of time has provided some great I am confident that everybody who has a chance to experience this body of work will enjoy what it delivers.

At heart, we are a couple of rock 'n' roll guys who owe a lot of our coming of age to the work ethic and lifestyle found in Michigan culture. The tunes on this record feature rocking guitars, powerful drums, driving bass, and soulful vocals. They should be a real treat for anybody familiar with the famous Detroit rock sound.

As we continue to build and polish the product, I will post more information; but I wanted to put it on everybody's radar that this will be coming soon.
